In September 2022, my nephews and niece decided that I needed a traveling companion to go with me on a trip to Indianapolis. Since none of them were able to go with me, my nephew decided I should take a red plastic snake, dubbed Steve. I was required to send pictures of Steve’s adventures as recompense for missing said nephew’s birthday party that year.
Since then, Steve routinely travels with me when I visit other states and each time I have gone overseas. In 2025, another nephew decided that Steve also needed a traveling companion, so his sister Stella, a green plastic snake, needed to come, too.
As I have (slowly) disconnected from Facebook, I’ve been (slowly-er) creating and updating these pages so the kids (and I guess anyone else interested in the travels of a plastic toy snake) can keep up and/or look back on their adventures.
